Annually Apple Moms has attended the New York Baby Show for 5 years now. Each year we check out our favorites and then the new products on the scene.  As veteran moms, its fun to see how things have changed, the improvements and the “I had to have that but never used it” items.  Luckily there aren’t too many of the latter but you never know, I mean I had to have wee wee tee pees I used 2x back in 2010 with Jack.  I am jealous of all this new gear moms get to use.

This year we had 5 Favorites:

  1. Summer Infant– Compact stroller with carseat compatibility and cell phone holder (its the little things), the 3Dpac CS+ which is low at $150.  My Bath Seat ($40) is the perfect bath transition tool, providing stability and water play from a seat.  Pop ‘N Play Deluxe Ultimate Playard ($119)can be taken anywhere, useful for travel, the beach and outings you want to let your child play without being on top them and giving them and you a little safe freedom.  Lastly, Baby Pixel ($200) is their baby camera with talk back to baby, 5in touchscreen, 3 level zoom and alert setup. This is everything in a camera a parent wants and needs.

  2. Bibbly–  This Bib covers the neck while they are eating, drinking, drooling.  No more cleaning up neck gunk.  The only big with a collar, no more changing clothes. Throw in wash and you are ready to use again.  All I remember was the grossness of Jack’s neck after a meals this solves it all.  You can find out more information on Bibblybaby.com Bibbly Bib
  3. Petunia Pickle Bottom–   I loved their diaper bags, 3 stood out plus the collobration with Disney for Disney xPPB.  The Boxy Backpack, The Balance and the Intermix System.  These bags are functional but also stylish and can be used beyond the baby.  Plus price points are below $200 for the bags and system.
  4. B.Box– Feeding and changing essentials that can be found on www.bboxbaby.com.  My favorites were the Diaper Caddy, which is my go-to baby shower gift when I fill it with baby and new mom essentials.  The diaper wallet, smock bib for ultimate coverage when eating, snack pack and bowl XL were other top picks.
  5. Travel Tray–  This fits in cupholders in carseats, cars and folding chairs.  AWESOME! The booth was popping so I am know I am not alone.   While I have a no food rule in the car daily, road trips (and summer is approaching quickly) I break my rule and let them, it does make for an easier ride for them and I.  Check out traveltray.us for ordering information.
