World Fishing and Outdoor Expo Took Over Rockland

Share

The World Fishing and Outdoor Expo took over Rockland during the beginning of the month. Thousands made way to Rockland Community College to check out over 250 vendors that lead in the boating, fishing, hunting and travel industries. Families took part all weekend long from 2/28-3/3, including family day that gave out fishing poles and reels to the first 100 kids under age 11.

We had a great time walking about and seeing the taxidermy examples, and places we can send our deer from hunts.  There was a fishing simulator brought but the northern NJ United Bass Anglers, the kids enjoyed using this to catch “huge fish”.   Dog demos, birds of prey, fishing stimulators, speakers and shopping.  Lots of shopping!

There was a scavenger hunt around the expo for the kids to visit certain booths for stamps and get a prize at the end.  This kept their interest even more!

We left with a ton of treats and supplies for our next water adventures.   We will be back again, the kids and husband have so much fun. Thank you for inviting us to attend!
