Travel to the Poconos

Sponsored post from #BXMNO.  All opinions are my own and honest.

Recently I went to an event (BXMNO) with Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau as a lead sponsor.  With the Poconos Mountains located just outside NY/NJ, they are within the  three hour range most of us families look for when we are traveling by car with a family.  Did you know they offer so many adventures? Places to stay? And things to do?  Me either, but I did get to learn all about them.

With over 2,400 square miles of space, there are travel possibilities during spring, summer, falling and winter.   I learned a lot about the choices, my family is an outdoorsy active family, but we also like to relax, swim, and eat.  They also host events year round, and you can decide to schedule a trip to them.

This summer we plan to visit the Pocono Mountains for these reasons:

  1. Delaware Water Gap National Park- get our stamp for our Passport book
  2. Fishing-  the kids and husband love fishing which means I get to sit back and relax while they get father-child bonding time and are outdoors and unplugged
  3. Biking- Mountain Biking and trail riding.
  4. Canoe/Kayaking- Lehigh River is great for all sorts of rafting and trips.
  5. Exploring- Waterfalls, ropes courses and museums.

You can find more information and see what area and resort/hotel would be best for your family.  On their website they have family vacation selections and much more.
