Travel: Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach #CPBWBFun

Growing up everyone went to the Jersey Shore, more specifically Seaside Heights, it’s tradition for many.  From the Hudson Valley area its 2.5 hours or less, an easy day trip or make it into a longer vacation. We just went for the day, best yet no traffic!!  Past visits have been longer.  I went through many nostalgic moments with Jack while in Breakwater Beach from his first visit 6 years ago.  We may have done some picture recreations.

That comes to the generational benefits of Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach, grandparents attending now with their grandkids and own kids. When we attended, we did a mom trip, 2 moms 4 kids, who were “starving” when we first arrived.  So we went to Casino Pier and ate pizza, indoors in the cool air since it was hot outside.  The kids immediately started playing some crane games and went on the Merry Go Around, a classic.

Opening at 12, we were on the Pier at 2, we started going on rides. We had unlimited wristbands which was great for them to just scan and ride.  I am a HUGE fan of doing the wristbands since many rides for littles, they want to go on over and over and instead of going through tickets, they are able to do it as many times as they want.  Which for the Super Slide was 5 times in a row, multiple races against each other.  For the adults we had some tickets for when the littles needed an adult.  I also was super excited for the Hydrus Roller Coaster with Jack, upside down and twists!

We left for the Breakwater Beach and spent 3.5 hours there.  The kids loved The Harbor (wave pool), The Perfect Storm (kiddie section) and we loved racing on the Patriots Plunge slide each other.  We rented a locker which was $8 and then we got SurfCard credits back for returning the key (more arcade games!!).

After 3 there is also a discount for Breakwater Beach and at Casino Pier there are 2 hour wristband specials and many other weekly discounts/specials.
