Boundless Adventures

Disclosure: Apple Moms did receive admission to Boundless Adventures facilitate this review. As always, all opinions are our own.

Open only a few weeks, Boundless Adventures is sure to gain popularity quickly with kids and adults alike.   We spent the late afternoon there climbing, swinging, flying and balancing amongst the trees for over 2.5 hours before we were beat.  For my active family to be tired says a lot.  We did 7 courses in that time, us adults each tried out one of the Exploration (black) and Strength (blue) courses too, after the kids did all 3 Exploration (yellow) and Motivation (green) courses with us.

When you arrive, you will check in at the Green building located in the parking lot, bathrooms are other there also.  After checking in, you walk across the street the adventure park, where you are suited up with harnesses.  The Staff then takes your group to the safety platforms to demonstrate how everything works, before moving on to the practice lines to get a feel on how the systems work.  You are always locked in with one clip.  The kids mastered how this system worked in minutes.  I appreciated the safety systems put in place, especially since the courses range from 10-40 feet up in the air.

One on the main platform, all courses start in one central location and then split off in directions and heights.  They are categorized by ages and levels. Look before you arrive and prep kids for what they can and cannot go on.  My son did get upset when he couldn’t go higher, the staff was great and explained it to him.  Honestly once I then completed a blue and black, there was no way without lots of assistance he would have been able to go on himself.  The staff was great at also helping, 2x my kids got stuck on an obstacle and they were there in seconds to move things around.  There are a total of 9 courses to challenge yourself.

There are special events coming up and you can check out their events calendar.  They also do birthday parties with 2 hours of climbing, and you can bring your own food and cake.  Remember this is for ages 7 and up.  This is the perfect party for the tween/teen groups, they will be outdoors, climbing and having fun.  Participants who need supervision, 1 adult per 10 kids, but ones who need to be completed with adults, it is a 1 adult per 2 kids.

What stood out:

First impressions and then total experience are huge.  We have done ropes courses on smaller scales before and never needed to wear gloves.  At Boundless Adventures you need to wear gloves, which they provide.  Jack’s hand is different with his pointed and middle fused together, he tried on the gloves and they bothered his hand.  I asked the staff if they could help problem solve.  One guy gave Jack one of his gloves, which was slightly bigger and fingerless.  This solved his problem, kept him safe.  I know in future to bring gloves we have for him, I was so happy they were able to help and make Jack feel happy.  The Staff was friendly, joked with kids and willing to answer any and all questions.

Hello up there! Jack on a swing obstacle

  • Comfy clothing and closed toe shoes- sneakers or hiking boots
  • Prep kids with what courses they can go on.  Courses are for 7 years old and up.  Yellow is for 7-9 year olds without parents on course.
  • Leave as much as you can in the car. there is no storage.  There are benches in the park you can always leave a bag on if you want too.
