I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and you enjoyed what you may have had for spring break. Both my kids are back to school and I am hoping we may be able to actually develop a routine again without snow days! If you are still looking to occupy your small people this weekend here are some great options.
Saturday April 7th

Kid’s DIY: Encourage a love for nature and ornithology in our hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a window birdhouse. Your young birdwatcher can observe birds’ behaviors like building a nest and watching eggs hatch without the need for expensive equipment. Once your birdhouse is built, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin.

Rick Lees Nature Awareness: Calling all kids!! Come and meet some very awesome animals like a Ferrets, Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Rats, Snakes, Lizards, Turtles, Exotic insects, and some incredibly sweet and Friendly Back Yards Chickens! Learn who they are, where they originate from, all about the behavior, their diets, needs and how to care for them. This will be a fun-filled, hands-on, and educational, experience for the whole family!
Sunday April 8th
Dutchess Stadium, Poughkeepsie
Egg HUnt & Ticket Day: Join us at Dutchess Stadium for our first day of single game ticket sales and our FREE community Easter egg hunt. Tickets go on sale at 10AM. The first round of “egg hunters” will go at 11:30AM and the second round will go at 12:30PM. Refill your Easter baskets with candy and stock up on tickets for the season!
