LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester Celebrates New LEGO® NINJAGO® Movie with Exclusive Event Days
Yonkers, N.Y. (April 6, 2018) – LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester, New York’s largest box of LEGO® bricks to play in, is celebrating the release of the all-new LEGO® NINJAGO®: Master of the 4th Dimension in the attraction’s cinema with four supercharged LEGO® Ninjago Event Days on April 14-15 and April 21-22. Guests can join their favorite ninjas – Lloyd, Kai, Cole, Zane and Nya – in their quest to unravel the teachings of the scroll and master the 4th dimension.
LEGO Ninjago Event Days is creating epic fun for kids and families with a ninja-themed MINILAND scavenger hunt; LEGO NINJAGO build activities; and more. Guests can decode the secret language of NINJAGO with LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester’s Master Model Builder Anthony Maddaloni; win prizes including a family four pack of annual passes; and attend a meet and greet with Kai, the Red Ninja of Fire.
After harnessing the power of the elements in this exclusive cinematic adventure, families are encouraged to explore their inner ninja with a visit to LEGO® Ninjago City Adventure – the attraction’s two-story, 2,300-square-foot interactive play area. Modeled after the Temple of Airjitzu, LEGO® Ninjago City Adventure puts guests’ physical skills to the test as they fight to save Ninjago City. Together, adults and children will test their balance, agility, strength and endurance to become a Spinjitzu Master, all while experiencing more than 20 interactive features.

Adult Fans of LEGO® Sci-Fi Night! (DATE CHANGE: April 26): Have you wanted to visit LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester but don’t have any little ones in your life? Do you need a night away from the kids but want something different to do? Join us on Thursday, April 26 from 7:00pm – 9:30pm for a bricktastic sci-fi adventure!
- Search MINILAND for your favorite superheros and science fiction characters to receive a Rebel A-Wing Pilot minifigure

April Homeschool Day! (April 18): If the yellow school bus is your own car, unlock your child’s creativity, brick by brick, and join us for Homeschool Day. Engaging students in reading and writing can be a challenge, but not when they build and tell their own story using LEGO bricks! In our April workshop, “What a Great Experience,” students will take inspiration from MINILAND and recount an experience they’ve had in their city.
- Participants will build their characters, setting, and plot using LEGO elements and write about their experience in a great take-home activity

Little Playtimes (Tuesdays): Little LEGO lovers can enjoy big fun at Little Playtimes on most Tuesdays between 10am and 2pm. Enjoy activities including DUPLO Story Time, Farmer’s Workshop, and newly added Animal Bingo.
