Happy Memorial Day! We will be celebrating the unofficial start of summer with a 40th birthday BBQ for my husband! I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend! Remember also to take a few minutes to think about those that sacrifice for us.
Thursday May 21st
Green Chimneys Farm & Wildlife Center, Brewster
Little Folks Farm Days – Go check out the Green Chimney’s farm, and wildlife center. Bounce house, hay rides, and pony rides will be ready for your little people to enjoy. You need tickets and this is a very popular event. Register HERE!
Friday May 22nd
Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum, Hyde Park
USO Show – Enjoy a re-creation of WWII-era shows put on to entertain US troops serving around the globe, enjoy live Big Band music from the 1930s & ’40s, comedy, juggling, historic newsreels and more. There’s a $5/person suggested donation for this evening of family entertainment.
Saturday May 23rd
Stormville Airport, Stormville
Country Antique Show & Flea Market go shop, eat and enjoy the kid’s play area!
Sunday May 24th
Walkway Over the Hudson, Poughkeepsie
Illumination of the Walkway – Head to the Flag Pole in the center of the Walkway Over the Hudson for a sunset vigil. Bring flashlights, glow sticks or other non-flammable items to light the night.
