Our 2018 Muddy Puddles Project’s 6th Annual Mess Fest Fun

Share

We attended  the Muddy Puddles Project’s 6th Annual Mess Fest this past weekend.  The skies opened up adding to the messy fun, I mean when you and your kids are ready for mud and water fun, rain just adds to that happening quicker.  It cleared up and we continued the fun.  We spent over four hours having fun, who had the most?  The kids are still deciding.

Did you know that the Muddy Puddles Project is the fundraiser for Ty Louis Campbell Foundation in support of childhood cancer.   Peppa Pig is the leading mascot of the Mess Fest.

“Peppa Pig is Entertainment One’s top-rated animated preschool program and airs daily on the Nick Jr. channel. The show follows the adventures of Peppa, a loveable, exuberant little piggy who lives with her brother George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. Peppa’s favorite things include playing games, dressing up, spending days outdoors, visiting exciting places, and making new friends. But her absolute favorite thing is jumping in muddy puddles — making Peppa Pig the perfect celebrity ambassador for the cause.

Peppa Pig and Entertainment One are eager to help spread the word about the Muddy Puddles Project and its mission to help children with cancer.”

Annually the Mess Fest hosts over 3,000 families, though with so much to do and such a spread out campus of Kiwi County Day Camp, you are not overwhelmed. They do a fabulous job at organizing all the fun and keeping the flow moving.  We did so much throughout the day, though swimming in the mud I think too the prize for my daughter.

Keep an eye out for next year’s event.  People come from far and near to support a great cause, come get messy with us in 2019!
