3rd Annual Scarecrows at Frog Alley. See stylish scarecrows on display created by local artists and designers, and enter your own scarecrow to be judged to win prizes! Ellenville Cooperative Nursery School Halloween Harvest Festival.  Age Group Halloween Costume Contest with prizes, Apple Pie & Chili Contest, Free Halloween Crafts, Goody Bags,Haunted House, Storytelling, Face Painting, Pumpkin Painting and more. $10/child, Adults free with child. The Great Pumpkin Patch Express.  A special train ride to visit the “Sincere Pumpkin Patch” where visitors will enjoy meeting their favorite PEANUTS™ characters, live music, story- telling, tractor rides, pumpkin decorating, trick-or-treating, and other family-oriented activities. Enjoy a reading of the Charles Schultz classic “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!” At the end of the trip, each child will receive a certificate for participating in the train ride. The entire train ride and Pumpkin Patch experience is about 2 hours in length. 31    24th Annual Night of 100 Pumpkins. Pumpkin Carving Contest.
Come to The Bakery and see all the pumpkins lit. Enjoy free hot cider, cocoa and pumpkin bread.  To enter just bring your pumpkin to The Bakery on October 30th. Local artists will judge the pumpkins and lots of prizes, all donated by local businesses, will be awarded. 1 (Raindate November 2)    Fifth Annual UlsterCorps Service Sprint + Zombie Escape.  Be spirited away on a trail winding through spooky woods, tunnels and caves.  Zombie Escape runners wear a flag belt (like flag football) – avoid the zombies and get through the woods with at least one flag and all your brains intact and you win. Top finishers receive certificates in gender and age group categories. Special awards given to Best Individual Costume and Best Group Costume. Pre-Registration: $20; Register by 10/15 and receive a free t-shirt; Day-Of Registration: $25 (no t-shirt); Team Discount: $15 per person, a team must have at least three members.  All funds raised from registration fees will benefit UlsterCorps.
