    Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. This fall’s lineup of nearly 200 participating restaurants is as exciting and diverse as ever. Restaurants offer prix fixe, three-course dinners for $29.95 and lunches for $20.95. Many chefs focus on our local products on their prix fixe menus. Thursday, November 6th

Caring Connections Free Fall Seminar for Family Caregivers. This seminar will educate and empower the Family Caregiver by addressing important issues faced by them and provide an opportunity for the Caregivers to interact with other Family Caregivers.  Now more than ever, Family Caregivers need to be equipped with the sound tools and support they need to take care of their loved ones.  Through education and empowerment, the Family Caregiver will experience fewer incidences of burnout, depression, isolation and frustration. The cost is free, but registration is required.  Refreshments will be served.  Sponsored by Benedictine Health Foundation and presented by RCAL. 39th Annual CraftWestport Presented By Westport Young Woman’s League.  Find unique, handmade, one-of-a-kind gifts for everyone on your holiday and gift list.  More than 175 fine contemporary artists and craftspeople from the region and across the country will be exhibited at Connecticut’s largest indoor fine craft festival. Visitors will enjoy the rare opportunity to meet these visionary artists and purchase their latest work as well as help to raise money for local charities. The show includes one-of-a-kind and limited edition jewelry; fashion and accessories; furniture, and home décor pieces; as well as functional and sculptural work in ceramics, glass, metal, painting, photography, wood and mixed media. There will also be a pop-up marketplace of local artists.  Tasty local treats will also be available. General admission is $10, seniors $9 and children under 12 are free. Admission is good for all weekend. Outdoor Skills Workshop

Learn vital camping skills such as how to build a campfire, cooking tips and skills, how to make a fire without a lighter or matches, how to use a compass with a map, tree and plant identification, and much more. Preregister Adults 18 and over 65 for the day, $80 for the day plus overnight. Ages 11-17, $30 for the day, $45 for day plus overnight. Day of, add $10.
