Travel Friends – International Collection received the “10 Best” award from Dr. Toy’s 10 Best Toys of 2014.  Each doll teaches Hello! from their country, fun facts, and highlights of interesting places to explore.  Only 7″ in size, they are fully bendable and possible and have rooted playable hair too.  Each of the nine dolls also wears traditional and ethnic removable outfits and accessories. Dolls include France, Italy, India, Kenya, Ireland, Mexico, Germany, China and Russia at $16.95, a perfect price for the quality of toy.

The Apple Moms’ daughters all met at Untermyer Gardens in Yonkers to play with their new dolls together and take pictures together. A must to check out in Westchester.  Five adorable little girls between the ages of three to six made the perfect playdate with their new Travel Friends.   The girls had picked out China, Italy, India, Mexico and Russia; all to go with their own personalities.

The girls loved how they bent, posed and were small enough to fit in their purses.  They looked like little girls versus usually dolls of similar type.  Knees, elbows, ankles all moved, some had them in yoga poses, the dolls and girls participated in a tea party and most importantly running around outdoors with each other.  The moms wanted photos of all the girls together, a giggle fest among the girls (the brothers had a tea party too when not pretending to be box people).image

  1. I like China and India, but my daughter also has Russian heritage so I’d have to let her be the final say!

  2. They are adorable & are a great idea for a Christmas gift! My daughter’s middle name is Ireland so the Ireland one would probably be her pick but they are all adorable. Love that each doll showcases a different country & culture!
