As an early childhood special education teacher, I am always on the lookout for toys that can be used in a multitude of ways. I loved checking out the latest toy to join my house for my son and my bag for work. Marco, our Wonder Crew friend has been a great addition for my son and the children I work with.
Role play for youngsters is a skill that is developed through demonstration and play. Wonder Crew provides imaginative friendship and leads children to learn through playing. I love listening to kids, my own and students, asking their dolls questions, talking for them, and Wonder Crew also provides matching accessories for the kids to wear. Now both are off to explore after being super heroes minutes before
For boys I have found the options dismal when it comes to dolls, besides action figurines. While girls traditionally have hundreds of choices when they walk into a toy store. I am not saying there is anything wrong with boys playing with “girl” dolls, dolls are for everyone, but they want ones that are boys. I feel though the majority of baby dolls and dolls are girls and many times come with matching clothing or accessories for the little girls who play with them. Say HELLO to your son (or daughters) new favorite dolls- WONDER CREW!
“Wonder Crew are dolls inspired by boys, meant for all!” WONDER CREW was developed by a mom to break the wall of “blue aisles” in the toy stores. Why are boys limited?- Wonder Crew Website
These are great for boys who want to have a buddy, maybe expecting a new baby brother and want a toy to real play a new sibling. They come with a mask and cape for the child and doll in each box, but many accessory packs can be bought, like the Explorer pack we got with ours. At $34.99 MSRP, they won’t empty the wallet either, a perfect gift.
