Reading- I haven’t had much time for reading lately, however I do have a couple of books I am planning to add to my Kindle app so I have something to keep me occupied as the days are getting warmer and the girls want to be outside more often. My top to right now is It’s Not Okay: Turning Heartbeak into Happily Never After by Andi Dorfman (I am a huge Bachelor/Bachelorette geek though I’ll admit I really only watch so I can read the blogs about them later specifically Ihategreenbeans) and The Zookeeper’s Wife by Diane Ackerman. I know I have a copy somewhere and I think pre-children I actually did read this book but I need to refresh my memory before I go see the movie.
Eating- Ugh it’s that time again our house is filled to the roof with Girl Scout cookies! This is one of the best and worst parts of being a leader for Chloe’s Troop!
Shopping– Since Emma just turned 3 all my shopping has been centered around her for the most part. I would have to say she has two favorite gifts, one was a Finding Dory Ukele and Microphone set (yea the mic works and has NO volume control) and the other is a Disney Rapunzel Animators set, I love this cause it came with a case so it is perfect to bring to Grandma’s and easy to clean up!
Doing- My past week literally revolved around her birthday. My favorite thing we did for it though was opening the Disney store. Every night they set out a giant lock and velvet ropes in the front entrance of the Disney store and one child each morning gets to use a gigantic key to unlock the store. They then get a small version of the key as a keepsake. We went with a couple of friends and it was super adorable.
Visiting- Next week is Spring Break and we have fish on the brain. We are considering a quick overnight to Mystic Aquarium as my husband has to work in Rhode Island, and we will also be using our membership to the Norwalk Aquarium as well, since both kids can walk the whole thing now! I may even bring them to the IMax since it is included…….
Enjoy Spring Break!!
