Hello Everyone! The summer heat is turning up! I’ve got your hookup for WHAT to DO this week! So much going on for the kids and some adult fun too! Lets keep ourselves busy this week! Can you say Summer Concerts, Fairs, Fireworks and so much MORE! Its summa time!! Stay safe and cool this week!

Thursday -Sunday, June 25-June 28 – Congers Fire Dept Annual Carnival & Fireworks

64 Lake Road Congers.  Fireworks will be on Sunday at 9:30pm

 

Friday, June 26 – Fireworks @ Bear Mountain State Park

Fireworks start at 8pm.  Celebrate Independence Day with us at Bear Mountain State Park with the annual fireworks display!

The show starts just after sunset, but parking fills up fast. Be sure to arrive early to get a good spot! Pack a picnic dinner and make an evening out of it!

 

Friday, June 26 – Passport to Imagination @ Michaels.  “Fishing Game”.

10am – 12pm. $5 per session which includes class and supplies. Register online at www.michaels.com


Saturday June 27 – Community Safety Event w Clarkstown Police Dept @ Palisades Mall.

12pm – 3pm.  Safety tips & Demonstrations in the F lot (near Cheesecake Factory)

Saturday, June 27 – Passport to Imagination @ Michaels.  “Pie Tic Tack Toe Game”

10am – 12 pm:  $2 for class and supplies.

 

Saturday, June 27 – Summer Celebrations @ Bear Mountain State Park

11am – 3pm. Kick off the beginning of summer with a day of family fun in the park. Enjoy nature crafts and explore ways to enjoy the summer season.  $8 per car for parking.

 

 

Saturday, June 27 – Big Apple LIVE Circus

11:30 am the paddling begins. Rentals for kayak and canoe’s begin at $20.  Registration at hackensackriverkeeper.org . Parking at the New City Little League field on Strawtown Road, New City

Sunday, June 28 – Annual Celebration of Liberty & Pride

Come to Rockland Community College at 145 College Rd. Suffern.  Gates open at 5:30pm. Bring the family, a blanket and chairs for a fun-filled evening. Fireworks display to follow concert at approximately 9:30pm.

Admission is free and all are welcome. On site food and snack stands.

 

Sunday, June 28 – Stony Point – Meet Yourself

1pm – 5pm at Stony Point Center:  17 Cricketown Rd Stony Point.  This is a chance for you to get to know your neighbors and celebrate being a resident of Stony Point, especially on the occasion of Stony Point’s 150th birthday!

Sunday, June 28 – Brain Day at NKI.

From 10am – 3pm.  Come to BRAIN DAY (literally)  at the Nathan Kline Institute in Orangeburg, NY. Learn all about the brain and touch a real human brain! Play brain games! Go on a tour of the state-of-the-art Brain Imaging Suite and talk to researchers about careers in brain science. Hear talks by experts in brain science and mental health. Learn how you can contribute to brain research. Resources for parents and teachers and complimentary refreshments provided.

BRAIN DAY at NKI is FREE and open to the public. All ages welcome.

 

Monday, June 29 – Munchkin Monday Summer Concert Series – “Polka Dot”

11am at Palisades Center East Court. oin us at 11AM in the East Court for a performance by the children’s band Polka Dot as part of our Munchkin Monday Summer Concert Series! The event is free and open to the public.

 

Tuesday & Wednesday June 30 & July 1 – $1 Summer Movie Express

Every Tuesday & Wednesday at 10 Regal Cinema (Nanuet location) will be featuring movies for $1. Visit www.regmovies.com for a complete schedule.

Wednesday, July 1 – Passport to Imagination @ Michaels.  “Craft Stick Ferris Wheel”
