Hello Moms! I know your admiring the springtime blossoms around Rockland County as I am! I’m relishing in the sunshine while playing with the kids in the yard and getting some much needed stroller walks while taking in these beautiful blooms all around us. Mothers Day is May 10 – that means nows the time for gifts ideas and lets be honest; hints & maybe requests 😉  Im keeping my eyes out for family fun  events around our lovely hudson valley towns – Check out what there is to do!   ~Alicia~

Preschoolers will enjoy watching this classic, followed by a fun and simple craft for that special someone on Mother’s Day.

The creators of the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze present an EXCITING NEW experience: An immersive journey into a springtime garden fantasy featuring colorful creatures and fantastic flowers!

Van Cortlandt Manor springs to life during this incredible nighttime display of sculpture, light, sound, and special effects. LIGHTSCAPES is an elegantly enchanting evening event featuring all-original sculpture designed and hand-made on site.  We have a GIVEAWAY for 4 tickets going on too!

Saturday May 2:  Brid’s Closet’s 8th Annual Beltane Festival 9am – 6pm

Come celebrate Spring and the warming weather. Brid’s Closet will be hosting it’s 8th Annual Beltane festival at the amazing Palaia Vineyards! This is a wonderful, family friendly event that all can enjoy. There will be live music, workshops, stands from many fine local vendors, and of course a May Pole! Palaia Vineyards will also be selling their amazing selection of wine and mead. Grab the whole family and come check out this unique and fun event! Sunday, May 3 – 10am:  Totally Toads

Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Outdoor Discovery Center: Muser Drive Cornwall

Childern (ages 5 & oder)  will learn about toad habits and habitats.  Enjoy a short hike to seek out these amphibians of the forest, then craft a fun “toad abode” to take home.  hhnaturemuseum.org

 

Tuesday, May 5th – 6pm   Wee Craft Together ( FREE)

Haverstraw Kings Daughters Public Library: 10 W Ramapo Rd Garnerville
