Boo! 🙂 This weekend is full of so many spooktacular halloween events. Ghosts and goblins, trunk or treats, and Ghoulish Halloween parades! You will have no problem finding someplace fun to go dressed in your Halloween costume! Make it a great week! 🙂

Friday, October 23

4pm – 6pm:  Truck or Treat – Pearl River

Thomas Cliffords Martial Arts  8 Orangetown Shopping Center Orangeburg

Decorate The Trunk of Your Car! Wear Your Costume and bring candy!

6pm – 7pm:  Trunk or Treat – Stony Point

Movie night from 7-10pm.  $15 per child includes pizza, drink & movie.  24 Holt Drive Stony Point.  For more information www.maniatrainingfacility.com

7:30 – 10pm:  Field of Screams at Provident Bank Park

For the first time ever, the Rockland Boulders will host a haunted house as “Field of Screams” $5 at door.

This is not recommended for children under the age of 13. No masks or costumes are allowed. www.rocklandboulders.com

 

Satruday, October 24

9am – 4pm:  Suffern Farmers’ Market Family Oktoberfest

The ” A ” Lot will be decorated head to toe with Halloween decorations, hay maze, face painting, pumpkin painting and pumpkin purchasing, cider and more. 99 Orange Avenue, Suffern. The A-Lot is located right next door!

12pm:  HarvestFest at Ridge Hill (Yonkers)

If your looking to get out (over TZB) head over to Ridge Hill in Yonkers. All Day enjoy:
– Pony rides, Barnyard petting zoo, Seasonal games and activities, Food and drink from RH restaurants.  Trick or Treating for 1st hour at participating restaurants and shops (costume friendly!). Pumpkin decorating, Square Dance Lessons and LIVE music!

12pm:  Halloween Festival @ Bowline Point Park

Enjoy haunted house,  scary hayride and hildren can also participate in a creepy costume contest and trick-or-treat.

1pm:  Trunk or Treat –  New City

Arrive by 12:30.  Bring candy, decorations optional and dress up.  Cars must register www.newcitychamber.com

FREE movie 2:30 pm.  Hocus Pocus. Inside Comm. Center

 

5pm:  Nyack Halloween Parade

The biggest parade outside of New York City. See the floats, over 300 costumed, marching bands. Cash Prizes for Best Costumes and Floats.

5:30pm:  Monster Mash 2015 @ The Nyack Center

Celebrate Nyack’s Famous Halloween Parade and have local fun afterwards at Nyack Center with live music, have dinner and meet friends and neighbors. Great time for families to eat up, boogie and take part in spooktacular activities! Live Music, pie throwing. FREE entry. Food/activities costs.
Entrance is free.

Way 5k & 1K Boo Run

Run 5K through the streets in the Village of Nyack. Come with the children and have them participate in the Youth 1K Costume Run. Stay for all the fun and festivities of The Nyack Halloween Parade. Register at www.raceawesome.com

 

7pm:  Halloween HOWL for United Hospice of Rockland

Another night of fun and partying! Dress up in your best prize winning costume, get your friends together. RESERVATIONS ACCEPTED.  All proceeds go to United Hospice of Rockland.

Sunday, October 25

2pm:  Village of Suffern Halloween Parade

Come join us for our annual Halloween Parade through the great downtown of the Village of Suffern! Prizes will be given out for best costumes and refreshments for all! For more information call  845-357-7943.

 

Monday, October 26

11am:  Munchkin Monday Spookfest

Join us for a spooky Munchkin Monday! Rolie Polie Guacamole is back to celebrate Halloween. Wear your favorite costume- there is going to be a costume contest!

 

Parents Fun

Wednesday, October 28

Art Adventure will be hosting a Sip & Paint at Crafthouse in Suffern.  Come paint candy skulls. Reserve your seat at www.ArtAfterDarkNY.com $30 includes beer tasting.
