UPDATE 8/17: Paw Patrol Live is coming back in 2018 to a city near you.  Below you can read our review from 2017 THE GREAT RACE, we loved this show and if your kids are fans, this is a must do for them.   For NYC The Great Pirate Adventure is coming towards the end of March.   The Great Race is still traveling around too.

Paw Patrol Live is currently in New York City, perfect place for Hudson Valley moms to get down to with their wee ones.  You must see this show if you are a Paw Patrol fan.  We attended the opening show on Thursday at 11am which is here through Sunday March 26th.  It will also be visiting Boston, Connecticut and Philadelphia this spring.

Kids will be singing along from the beginning, going through the theme song while introducing all the pups.  The pups are actually humans where puppetry costumes to make the pups life-size and interactive with each other.  Don’t worry kids are not distracted by the actors wearing them.  Actors also portray Ryder, Mayor Goodway, Mayor Humdinger and the Chickaletta cheerleaders which have everyone dancing in their seats and for our show waving pom-poms given to us upon walk in.

The Pups took over Adventure Bay checking for clues, each scene featuring 2-3 of the pups.  Singing and dancing takes place in the two acts that spans over 75 minutes with a short intermission.  The high-energy show is packed, keeping the kids engaged and watching for the dancing Chickaletta cheerleaders in the aisles whenever a clue was found and Mayor Goodway came out.  Kids learn the same lessons on teamwork, citizenship, problem-solving and social skills just like the TV show throughout the show.

Shows also have a VIP (Very Important Pup) package for the kids.  Playing with toys, exclusive photo ops with scenes and stories are included.

We gave the show 2 PAWS up.  Fully entertained, never distracted or uninterested and mom approved.
