The Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall is at the Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park in Carmel for 4 Days. Thursday 9/24-Sunday 9/27- more information can be found here.

Mid Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie
Starlab Planetarium – Journey into the museum’s Starlab planetarium to learn basic astronomy concepts. After the program you’ll be able to find real constellations in the night sky! $3 dollar additional charge.
Saturday September 26th
Village of Pawling, Pawling
Chamber of Commerce Arts & Crafts Fair – Do a little early holiday shopping, grab a bite and relax in the autumn air. Admission to the rain or shine event is FREE!
Hackett Hill Park, Hyde Park
Fall Festival – Merchandise and craft vendors, health groups offering a free service, antique cars and community organizations at the annual community day.
Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie
Pajama Party & Blanket Forts – Celebrate Worldwide Day of Play Join us as we turn a portion of the museum into a giant blanket fort! Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animals as we celebrate fun and imagination.
Green Chimneys, Brewster
Fall Harvest Festival – The day begins with a Children’s Harvest Fun Run around the Green Chimneys horse barn and Tom’s Trail. The rest of the day is filled with great seasonal activities like pumpkin decorating, hayrides and a hay maze. Additional activities include pony rides, wildlife demonstrations, and other live animal events.
Sunday September 27th
Beekman Fire House, Poughquag
Community Day – Annual community day! More than 50 vendors, Tag sale, Craft Fair, various community non profits, face painting, food trucks and pancake breakfast!
Loeb Art Center, Poughkeepsie
Family Day – Activities include printmaking, constructing mobiles, brush and ink painting, and collage. Event takes place in the Art Center’s outdoor sculpture garden. Kid-friendly mini-tours of the galleries are also available.
Tuesday September 29nd
Mid Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie
ABC 123! – This month the focus is on counting skills. What do cotton ball catapults, pretend lava, and mystery eggs have in common? They are crazy games that make simple counting and addition fun! This program is free with museum admission.
