September is here! Our district goes back to school on Thursday! I hope everyone has a fabulous Labor weekend and gets every last drop of summer fun in they can! With back to school things are pretty quiet this week, but watchout for tons of fun this fall!

Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie
Fertile Minds Garden Time:Our newest learning space is outdoors! Join us as we head into the new Children’s Garden @ MHCM to learn about growing food and to practice gardening techniques. This program is free with museum admission.
Kindergarten Backpack & Supply Giveaway: Do you have a child entering Kindergarten in the fall? MHCM and the United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region want to help you manage the cost of school supplies for your child. On September 1, we will be distributing 200 free backpacks filled with kindergarten school supplies in the pavilion at MHCM

Flea Market: With over 600 hundred vendors from more than eight states there is always something new and exciting at the Stormville Flea Market. Shoppers come to the Stormville Flea Market and discover everything from antiques and collectibles; arts and crafts to new merchandise. Shoppers return to us year after year with some travelling over a hundred miles, often by the busload, to pursue the hunt for bargains.

Kids Do It Yourself: Join our hands-on workshop and you and your child can get to work on a mini whiteboard with a pen tray they can use for school work or play time. Once the whiteboard is built, your child can paint it in their favorite color.
