The Puppet People’s Christmas Carol: Warm your hearts with Dickens’ classic. Watch Mean Ol’ Scrooge as he discovers Christmas is not HUMBUG! The Puppet People’s spectacular show features beautiful marionettes, holiday music and guaranteed smiles!
Fishkill Farms, Fishkill
Visit from Santa: Santa is coming to Fishkill Farms on his favorite vehicle to ride (after his trusty sleigh), his John Deere Tractor. Bring the whole family down, including pets, to take pictures with Santa!
Brewster Library, Brewster
Lego Challenge Day: Come to the library and explore your creativity with Legos! Choose one of our construction challenges or spend the time creating your own masterpiece. We’ll provide the Legos and you provide the imagination! Display your creation in the library for all to see! For all ages. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult.
Sunday December 18th
Staatsburg Historic Site, Staatsburg
Holiday Whodunnit: Children ages 6 to 11 and their family members are invited to solve a “history mystery.” The children become detectives, interviewing costumed interpreters, who portray Gilded Age houseguests and servants. The Holiday Whodunit runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Children typically take 45 minutes to an hour to complete the program. The young detectives can enter a drawing, along with their guess as to “whodunit,” for prizes provided by the Friends of Mills Mansion and Oblong Books.
