Dutchess and Putnam county events

We have finally made it through the school year I can’t believe I am going to have a second grader! My “baby” finished her first year of pre-school too and is super excited for her first time at camp. It should be a great summer and I am looking forward to giving my older daughter some great memories. If you are looking for something fun to do over the weekend here are some great places to check out. Also don’t forget our Bucket list to find some new summer adventures!

Friday June 23rd

Mid Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie

Captain Bubble Show: This zany superhero science show will empower children to be scientists as they learn about states of matter, energy and chemical reactions. Highlights of the show include amazing helium bubbles, bubble-powered rockets and children actually being put inside a bubble. $3.00 per person.

Saturday June 24th

Michaels, All Areas

Kids Club: 10-Noon Kids Club® Morph Sea Creature $2 a child. (APPLEMOMS Favorite), All Areas

Patterson

Olde Tyme Flea Market: Celebrating over 30 years, the is a family friendly atmosphere that offers a wide variety of bargains, treasures and unique finds for everyone.  When you come to the flea market you will discover everything from antiques and collectibles, arts and crafts and new merchandise as well a fun activities for the kids. Our flea market is held every Sunday each offering a wide variety of unique goods and services, including food concessions.

Summer Concert Kick-off: Line dancing, food, and fun to start the summer!

Slime Sunday: 1-3 Join us in our classroom to make a slime stress ball or customized slime. We’ll provide all the supplies, including pre-made slime. (APPLEMOMS Favorite), All Areas
