Putnam & Dutchess Weekend Events 5/26-5/29
We are almost done with the month of May and I have a feeling June is going to fly by even faster! I have been busy with wrapping things up for Girls Scouts and PTO for the end of the school year and I am happy to have a weekend off finally! Finally don’t forget to honor those that gave all for our freedom this Monday on Memorial Day. Have a great weekend Putnam county and see you out and about!

MHCM – Poughkeepsie
Long Long Ago: What is that giant skeleton as you come up the museum’s stairs? We’ll learn about the mastodon and how it was found. Then we’ll do a hands on paleontology activity.
Saturday May 27th
FDR Mansion, Hyde Park
Living History: On the lawn in front of the FDR Presidential Library will take on the appearance of a World War II encampment with WWII Military Displays. Period military vehicles of all sizes and soldiers in battle dress will be on hand to share their love of World War II history.
Stormville Airport, Stormville
Antiques & Flea Market: With over 600 hundred vendors from more than eight states there is always something new and exciting at the Stormville Flea Market. Shoppers come to the Stormville Flea Market and discover everything from antiques and collectibles; arts and crafts to new merchandise. Shoppers return to us year after year with some travelling over a hundred miles, often by the busload, to pursue the hunt for bargains.
