I hope everyone is hanging in there in the holiday rush! We are tree shopping this weekend, and decorating! However, if your family has already decked the halls here are a few things to check out this weekend!

 

Saturday December 9th

 

Michaels, All Areas

Kids Club: 10-Noon Kids Club® North Pole Photo Props $2 a child. (APPLEMOMS Favorite), All Areas

Make Break: Christmas T-shirts® Buy the shirt and additional supplies will be provided 1 to 3pm. (APPLEMOMS Favorite), All Areas

Hawthorne Suites, Fishkill

Santa Visit: Free visit with Santa, pony rides, characters and a gift for every child.

Poughkeepsie Galleria

Santa Party: Operation Christmas Magic Show with Jingle the Elf!

Town of Dover

Tree Lighting Our parade starts at 5:00 PM from Wingdale Elementary School to the park, then we have our Tree Lighting. Under our pavilion there will be Singing, Arts and Crafts, Donuts, Coffee and Hot Chocolate as well as we collect food for the Center of Compassion in Dover Plains. Local organizations will have activities at their tables and there is a table available for writing letters to Santa, then the children will take the letters and give them to  Santa and the parents can take pictures.

Sunday December 10th

Mid Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie

Sensory Hours: Sensory Hours allow families with young children with autism and other sensory integration challenges to explore MHCM exhibits in a modified environment with reduced sound, designated quiet spaces, extra visual signage and sensory aids.

Carmel High School, Carmel

Kids Day: Visit with all the High School clubs as they offer tables for kids to do crafts, games and create holiday memories!

Village Hall, Fishkill

Holiday Festival: Petting zoo, refreshments, childrens crafts, pictures with Santa
