Happy Thursday Apple Moms! We are in full fall mode at my house my girls dragged me out for Halloween costumes last weekend and we have pulled out all of the decorations too. So if you are looking for some fun fall activities here are some of your best bets!

Saturday October 7th

Michaels, All Areas

Kids Club: 10-Noon Kids Club® Character Canvas $2 a child. (APPLEMOMS Favorite), All Areas

Make Break: Pumpkin Slime® Materials will be provided 1 to 3pm. (APPLEMOMS Favorite), All Areas

Mesier Homestead, Wappingers Falls

Tour Day: Opening day for tours at the Mesier Homestead in the Village of Wappingers Falls! Stop by and take a tour of this 1741 historic home at Mesier Park.

Thunder Ridge, Patterson

Touch A Truck: Come with your family and friends and be part of this fun event. Remember this is different from a regular car show. At Touch a Truck you can actually get into and explore most of the vehicles on display.

Stormville,  Airport/Flea Market

Flea Market: With over 600 hundred vendors from more than eight states there is always something new and exciting at the Stormville Flea Market. Shoppers come to the Stormville Flea Market and discover everything from antiques and collectibles; arts and crafts to new merchandise. Shoppers return to us year after year with some travelling over a hundred miles, often by the busload, to pursue the hunt for bargains.

Sunday October 8th

Mid Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie

Sensory Hours: Sensory Hours allow families with young children with autism and other sensory integration challenges to explore MHCM exhibits in a modified environment with reduced sound, designated quiet spaces, extra visual signage and sensory aids.

Ryans Field, Kent

Pumpkin Decorating Contest: Register at recreation@townofkentny.gov

Monday October 9th

Mid Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie

Hydraulic Robot Claw Maker: Children will learn about hydraulics, or how water can used to make a mechanical object move. Each child will then get to make and take home their very own functioning hydraulic robot claw!
