Putnam & Dutchess Week of 1/18 – 1/24
We are back from our Midwest tour this weekend! Just in time for our weekend snow storm! My kids are beat from traveling so I am kind of looking forward to being snowed in. (if it happens) So here are some things to get out to before we are snowed in and some places to go if the weather reports are wrong!
Friday January 22nd
Patterson Library, Patterson
Flannel Friday – Beat the cold with Flannel Friday! Wear your warm, comfy flannels and listen to a flannel board story.
Mid Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie
Sticky Science – Explore materials magnets stick to and try out several surprising science experiments, some of which you could later try at home! This program is included with museum admission.
Saturday, January 23rd
Michaels Arts & Crafts, Brewster, Poughkeepsie
Kids Club – Drop in for Kids Club from 10-noon, where kids will make a Craft Stick Snowman. Just $2 per child for 30 minutes of creative, craft fun – supplies included!
Sunday January 24th
Hackett Hill Park, Hyde Park
Winterfest – Winter fun, games, snow tubing & cross country skiing. Refreshments such as soup & hot chocolate served to warm you up! They will have a warming fire, marchmellow roast, and more. It will go on if there is snow or not.
