One more weekend until the TRUE holiday rush.  I hope everyone is trying to enjoy the start of the holidays getting ready for Thanksgiving.  If you have some family in town or are looking to get the kids out of the house before they destroy everything you just cleaned here are a few options!

Saturday November 18th

Michaels, All Areas

Kids Club: 10-Noon Kids Club® Felt Banner Ornaments $2 a child. (APPLEMOMS Favorite), All Areas

Make Break: Holiday Wreaths® Buy a wreath base and decorations will be provided, little kids can create a stick reindeer 1 to 3pm. (APPLEMOMS Favorite), All Areas

Center for Performing Arts, Rhinebeck

Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother: Cinderella is about to marry the Prince, but her Fairy Godmother appears with a riddle to be solved first. Join various fairytale characters in the hilarious search for the answer. Sing, dance, hide from the Giant and become a pixie in Fairy Godmother’s magical Storyland.

Poughkeepsie Plaza, Poughkeepsie

Santa Arrives: Santa Arrives on a Firetruck at 11am! (Firetruck arrival courtesy of Croft Corners Fire Company as members of the Arlington Fire District.)  Santa will be arriving at the main entrance of the plaza this year. Look for the entrance with the big wreath!  From 11am-1pm, come enjoy free activities! Crafts, coloring sheets, face painting, a LEGO activity with BRICK KIDS and more!

Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie

MHCM is open late and admission is FREE from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the THIRD Saturday of every month.  Family Free Nights are sponsored by M&T Bank. Come play!!
