Spring fever has officially hit my kids! They are begging to be outside, so we have started our garden prep and have some nice little plants ready to go into the ground in the next couple of weeks! Morning Children’s Series – From an assortment of surprise packages comes four very special gifts…the gifts of storyteller Hans Christian Andersen. Out of a bright birthday box steps ‘The Steadfast Tin Soldier’ to tell of his undying love for a paper dancing doll. A dilapidated old crate yields the comic tale of ‘The Ugly Duckling” The quartet of tales concludes with the touching romance of ‘The Little Mermaid’ who loves a human being… the story discovered in an ancient sea chest. Performed by Kids on Stage, The CENTER’s after-school workshop program, directed by Lisa Lynds.
