Putnam County Weekend Events 10/10-10/12
Happy Thursday Apple Tots! We had an eventful week so far, the baby had her 6 month well visit and flu shot. Which she was NOT happy about and made sure everyone in the Dr’s office knew it. My 4 year through us a curve ball at her well visit and didn’t perform that well on her vision screening, so we followed up with a Pediatric Opthomaligist and it turns out she needs glasses. Never in a million years would I have thought that so it goes to show that it pays to follow up even if you think it’s nothing! It’s looking kind of quiet around Putnam this weekend but here are a couple of good family fun to check out!

On Saturday, October 11 at our Brewster location from 11 am to 4 pm, get a taste of the bountiful authentic Italian options DeCicco & Sons can offer! From our handmade fresh mozzarella, wood-burning brick oven pizza and our cannoli chips & dip to our store-baked cannolis and other Italian pastries, enjoy samples of our wide variety of homemade Italian specialties. We’ll also have numerous local and international farms and vendors in attendance, all bringing their own respective Italian specialties to the table.

From 1pm-8pm on Saturday, Mayor’s Park will be overflowing with German culture. Live music will be played from local artists and a DJ will provide authentic German music to set the mood. There will be an abundance of dining options, including roast pork, red cabbage, German pretzels, bratwurst, apple strudel, German chocolate cake, and a favorite: German potato pancakes made by the Knights themselves. And of course, there will be plenty of German beer.
