Putnam County Events 11/28 – 11/29
Happy Early Thanksgiving! We are headed to my brother’s house for dinner on Thanksgiving, but have 5 of my family members from Wisconsin staying with us for the week! I am not sure which is more work, doing one large gathering or taking care of a small group for a longer time! Either way here are some of the events we will be heading to work off our turkey coma!
Friday November 28th
VeGa Gymnastics, Carmel
Open Gym! My daughter has been taking classes at VeGa for almost three years now and she loves everything about it. The facility is clean the coaches and staff are polite, caring and most importantly FUN! She even did a few days of summer camp and has been begging to do it again. Cost $15 per child Check out their website for more info http://www.gymnasticsatvega.com/
Saturday November 29th
Home Depot, Brewster
Build a Give and Save Bank. We have yet to attend a workshop at Home Depot, but my daughter loves doing the crafts they provide at the local fairs and festivals! Hey it’s free and a good place to send Dad with the kids so you can get some shopping done! Register at this site http://workshops.homedepot.com/workshops/kids-workshops
Brewster Elks Lodge Holiday Fair
So my Mom is a member of the Elks Lodge and we usually check out this craft fair each year to support her. You can find a ton of unique items here and if all else fails there are hot dogs for the kids!
Brewster Feed Barn
Pet Pictures with Santa! Ok so don’t laugh but one year I volunteered for a dog rescue and I got stuck in the Santa suit! Totally true story. In seriousness though this is a great place to head to if you want your furry babies included with your human babies in your yearly Santa pic!
