PLACES: SPINS HUDSON
Westchester is adding more fun family attractions and this one is exciting for ALL. We have been fans of SPINS for a while now. We have gone to the Mount Kisco location and frequent the Carmel location for the bowling and arcade. The new SPINS is not bowling, it is more extreme fun with an indoor/outdoor ropes course for kids and adults. Also inside is bocce and shuffleboard courts, a large arcade and equally large prize shop for those arcade games. You are able to see the outside ropes course from the parking lot, which may not look like much until you are four stories up and maneuvering all the obstacles.
A two-floor laser tag arena in also inside, a perfect place to host a birthday party for the tween set. The main attraction, the two level indoor and four level outdoor course is great for date night, parties and family day out. While there for opening, Nicole and I had lots of fun watching our kids climb before deciding to try it for ourselves. Starting outdoors at the top, we had a picnic in the sky, 3 levels up after surfing across the top-level. Their are over 70 elements, including bowling pins a cute play on “spins”. It is safe to say the adults had as much fun as the kids.
