eKids
My kids are big fans of the eKids toys. They are at great prices for the fun they provide, remember they are electronic based toys, either by themselves or link to another toy for use. Guardians of the Galaxy fans will love the Dancing Groot in their basket, he either dances to his own music or will dancing along to any music you have playing. The Sofia the First Creative Crayon is a stylus that works on touch screen devices and working with free app that is included for download. Perfect size, for the little hands.
The Frozen Magical MP3 Microphone priced at $12.99 is another cute pick for you budding rockstar. This also matches perfectly with the eKids Sing-Along Boombox, which we reviewed last month and is still a hit. Check out the full line of eKids toys today and find something your child would love, tons of characters to choose from.
I See Me
One gift you can never go wrong with is a book! I See Me makes personalized books, and has a many to choose from. Also its not just adding your child’s name, but also inside the pages. I did a sibling book for the kids and inside we were able to choose different family members to also be mentioned as we read. Jack and Char thought that was so cool. Bonus mom points!
They have birthday, holiday and new sibling books, also many adventure books, coloring books and accessories. I See Me is a great company and the personal attention the books are given is incredible. We are giving away one book today, enter below for your chance. In the mean time please check them out on Facebook and their website.
Educational Insights
As a teacher and a parent, I am always looking for toys that work on skills for the kids but are also fun. The beauty of this game is everything is in one box, and the box doubles as play space. The kids work on fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and improves matching and thinking skills. The kids work on their colors, and encourages social skills and turn-taking (patience building). Differentiating includes using pincher grasp/fingers for picking up (younger children). Labeling the colors while learning, and sorting colors of carrots into baskets while taking turns instead of using spinner, for the younger crowd with adult supervision.
You can order this game here, and check them out on twitter and Facebook and see their products on Educational Insights.
We are giving away one I See Me book and a Lottie Doll set! Good Luck!

We do art supplies, a stuffed toy, and outdoor fun like bubbles.
I love putting chocolate, books and a small toy in the Easter basket,
I usually put fruit snacks and little card in my sons basket. I also like putting creative activities so I’ll print out some easter worksheets and put them in with some crayons.
I put in candy, Pez toys, rubber duckies and bubble stuff
This years Easter basket has a bunch of Littlest Pet Shop dolls, and other small toys. We try to not go overboard on the candy in the Easter Basket 🙂
