Monster Jam Path of Destruction 2015

Last Saturday Monster Jam was at MetLife in NJ for their NY/NJ stop of the tour.  Have you seen them before?  This was our first time, and it was AWESOME, the kids are hooked and the little one now wants to add a Monster Truck onto her list activities (as if dirt bikes and quads weren’t enough for a 3.5 year old).  Monster Jam is toys coming to real life in front of them according to my kids.  We have slowly been building their collection of the Monster Truck toys, adding 3 today when we stopped at Toys R Us.imageimage

We started in the Pit Party and ended in the stadium with some of the popular trucks racing against each other and performing in free style competition.  The kids loved standing next to the trucks and seeing tires talking than them.  Jack had a Grave Digger Shirt on and decided to get the drivers to sign it; Charlotte saw that and decided to get her arm signed (tattooed).  These kids!  We ran into traffic and were only there for a little over an hour, next time we will make sure to give at least 3 hours down for Pit Party so we can meet more Drivers and see all their is to offer.  Hot Wheels had an entire section set up for the kids to test out their new tracks and vehicles.image

The big event was Max D pulling off the first forward flip to make the Guinness Book of World Records.  He missed the record because instead of landing on all four tires, he landed on two and bounced into another flip then landing.  Which was even cooler but didn’t count for the record.  The kids were entertained and into it, although rooting for them to flip and when they did the kids (and crowds) went wild.  When the trucks flipped, stopped working or got stuck the pit crew would come out to roll them back over and tow them off the track.  While racing some of the drivers played around when pulling back in, blocking the other trucks while raving their engines.  The kids sitting around thought it was the greatest.

We got to see: Grave Digger, Son-uva Grave Digger, Madusa, Grave Digger “The Legend”, Max D, Lucas Crusader, Metal Mulisha, Monster Energy, Solider Fortune, Scooby-Doo!, Hot Wheels Firestorm, Captain’s Curse, Mohawk Warrior, Zombie, El Toro Loco, Monster Mutt Dalmatian, Dooms Day, Stone Crusher, Xtermigator, and Ice Cream Man.  Did you know there are women who drive too?  Scooby Doo!, Medusa and Monster Mutt Dalmatian rock even more that reason.

Stayed tuned to Monster Jam and find out when Monster Jam Path of Destruction 2015 will be near you this year on the Momster Jam Path of Destruction. It is a must go for kids and adults alike (Pit Party Pass is highly suggested with little ones).

Check them out on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Youtube too!

Disclosure:  I received tickets for my family and I to see Monster Jam in exchange for a honest review, no other compensation was received.
