Monster Jam at Prudential Center, NJ
Flying in air, flipping over and wheelies are just some of the stunts you will see at Monster Jam. Prudential Center in Newark, NJ hosted the tour and my kids were filled with excitement. We are excited this has become a regular family event for us.
Carolina Crusher, Grave Digger, BackDraft, Higher Education, Saigon Shaker, Instigator, Bad News Travels Fast, and Black Stallion psyched up the crowds as the Monster Trucks in NJ. In between ATV races and BMX stunts entertained the audience during intermission. Nonstop fun!
The trucks each participate in four competitions, Wheelies, Freestyle, Speed & Skills and Donuts. Fans are chosen to join the Judge’s Zone and score these competitions which also drop the highest and lowest scores. This show hd Carolina Crusher and Grave Digger battling for #1 spot, each winning two of the competitions. Carolina Crusher was our favorite hands down, extremely entertaining and plenty of skills.
Tips: Bring ear plugs, with the indoor arena it was even louder than when we attended outdoors. There is a strong jet fuel odor, this can be overwhelming for some- a bandana over nose/mouth may help and breaks to lobby. My kids were not phased by it but personally my eyes watered. This is for the indoor arenas, when we went outdoors, while loud it wasn’t as loud in the open air.
