Reading- I started reading Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv this week.  I was a lucky child to play outdoors, in the woods for hours a day growing up.  The fact that kids are rarely seen outside, resonates with me.  I am constantly having the kid go outside, finding a trail to go hiking and exploring of.  I just started so I will be learning more and reflecting soon.

Eating- Recently my son tried and feel and love with Baby Boneless Spare Ribs, so I have been making some stir fry at home and going to my favorite local Chinese Food place to buy them, which is Toro in Carmel.  Another staple, waffles with sprinkles in them from Eggo, I am eating them as much as the kids.

Shopping– I feel like I am at Michael’s stores almost daily.   Between Tiny Tot crafts, the Saturday $2 Children’s craft sessions and robotics club I am always there.  Did you know the kids can attend every Saturday morning from 10am-12pm (I’d be there 11:30 the latest) to do an adorable craft.  We made birdhouses last week.  Plus while the kids do crafts you can walk around shopping! Mom Win! Drop and shop.

Doing- My house went on the market this past week, so I feel like I am constantly cleaning, throwing out things I don’t want/use/need anymore or making trips to storage.  We have to be “on” 24/7, hopefully it happens quickly so we can find our new home and move.  Staying locally for the kids and family.

Visiting- We have been all about Snowboarding this winter.  We went to Butternut last week for the snow day, and then this week for the snow day to Thunder Ridge.  We have been utilizing Thunder Ridge in Patterson weekly for the kids.  Although we prefer to go north for better mountain conditions and runs.   Hopefully one or two more times before the season ends the kids and I will go out.
