Liberty Science CenterTMNT: Secrets of the Sewer Exhibit

The Liberty Science Center has a special exhibit happening now through September 5th, 2016.  You will not want to miss it, whether you were a fan as a kid (like me) or your kids are fans (like mine).  This interactive exhibit is special and just one of the many throughout the center.  We spent hours at LSC and still didn’t see everything.  A summer must do for families with kids of all ages.

We attended a special event before reaching the exhibit, the kids attended “ninja training”, met real turtles and touched a few box turtles too.  The turtles Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael came out to meet us too, amazing photo ops.  The TMNT were also there for the public to meet later in the day. Along with pizza throwing activities and a demonstration by Donatello Arpaia.image

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle exhibit takes you into the turtles underground lair to work on team building skills with your family.  Interactive challenges, computer games, ropes maze and dress up like a turtle are just a few of the many activities to work on while you “become a turtle” after completing all the tasks.  Bring a camera to pose infront of the huge replicas, while you balance on a skateboard or climbing through the sewer.

There are also 3D movies and special events all the time at the center.  Check out their calendar when planning your trip.  Memberships can be used at other science museums around the country, a great thing to have if you plan on attending more than 3 times in a year and other museums .image

Disclosure: I was invited to a special event for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. All opinions are my own and as always honest.
