Imagination Movers

Imagination Movers North American tour 2015 included a stop to Provident Bank Park. Apple Moms Alicia (me) and Karen with some of our kids made sure to check them out (Karen is a self declared Mom Groupie!), thanks Imagination Movers and Ramapo Summer Concerts. Karen had checked them with her family over the winter in Hartford.  Having the Imagination Movers in Rockland was AWESOME!  -“Following My Mom Around” is now on repeat in the Mom Mobile. Music the kids and moms can giggle to.

Home to the Rockland Boulders, Provident Bank Park is apart of the Town of Ramapo, was clean, all the staff  was extremly friendly and outgoing. I would definitely recommend a visit to the stadium if you haven’t had the pleasure yet and I know I will return as well.   A trolly ride for patrons around the stadium was quite entertaining for the kids. PBP also has a playground for kids to burn some energy. Lots of choices for food,snacks and treats.

We had the pleasure of meeting the band prior to showtime. Rich, Scott, Dave and Smitty were happy go-lucky as we know of them from Disney Jr. These guys, I mean these DADs (3 of them are) know how to rock, actually did you know they all left jobs to make Imagination Movers, after forming in 2003.  Karen and I were rocking out to the songs, many of the songs started as “our songs” Rage Against the Machine, Offspring, Boys to Men, Pharrell and Taylor Swift, clever guys, very clever.  We were out of our seats the whole show, mostly dancing on the grass infant of the stage.
A new show on new network should be coming out soon. They took many pictures, handed out stickers, signed autographs and hi-fived everyone they came in contact with.  To kick off the show in typical Imagination Movers style – flying toilet paper! The guys were amazing. The live music and signing, the high energy, which is contagious and so interactive with kids (and parents). You could feel the love for what they do, making music and kids everywhere smile and be happy! Such an enjoyable event for my family. Make sure to check them out again when they are local again to the Hudson Valley.
