Holiday Cards with Shutterfly

Share

sf-cardsdisclosureWinter Holidays mean cards, I LOVE making and sending cards, you could even say my pride and joy.  I get to share photos with our friends and family plus receiving them.  I keep all the photos from cards we receive for the kids.  When they were younger they would flip through to learn names of their relatives and others.  Just punch a hole in the corner and loop some string and you have a flip book.

Shutterfly offers 100s of options for cards, with various paper choices, edges, finishes and sizes, also styles for no photos to card with nine or more.  Flat Cards in photo finish or card stock paper, Tri-Fold, Ornament cards, Pop Out and Folded. The combinations you can do are endless really.img_4535

This year Apple Moms did three different card options:  the Tri-Fold, Pop Out,  and Flat cards, this year we did flat with no photos, which many probably do not associate with Shutterfly because of photos, but they have non photo card options too.

The Tri-Fold cards are one of my favorite, you can include many pictures and add text about your family without doing the whole Christmas letter.  This is my second year doing them, last year I received so many compliments, I showcase the year with photos from throughout and our holiday photos are highlighted.img_4531

Pop Out Cards are new this year. I have always ordered flat cards for teachers, customers, clients and others who we give gifts and exchange with, so I ordered these Pop Out cards this year, I love that the main photo pops out so for those people who want to keep just the picture they can.  We all have that family member who cuts the cards themselves, these make it happen without the scissors. Genius! img_4533

Ornaments are also perfect for the family photo or just one of the kids. Making all these is simple.  You can do them on the computer or through their app.  Upload photos, add text and order.  They even have  options for addressing the cards and matching return labels if needed too.  Once ordered you will be stalking the delivery trucks for that orange box, because as Shutterfly says “Good things come in orange packages.”
