Lewisboro/Mount Kisco, NY – (May 9, 2016) Grand Prix New York will be hosting a “Relay After Dark” fundraising event at their Mount Kisco facility on Thursday, May 12th from 7-10 P.M. The event will benefit Relay for Life of Katonah-Lewisboro.

Grand Prix New York invites guests to shop, sip, snack & schmooze for a cure.  Throughout the night, participants will have the opportunity to purchase unique products from Beautycounter, Tiny Treasures, Ecolustre, Great Gifts by Eileen, Serai Jewels, PS Décor, Grand Strand Co., Wildtree, Thirty-One Bags & Totes, Isagenix Nutritional Cleansing, & James, Tundi, Lululemon, Audrey Road & AR Kids, and CK4health Shaklee Independent Distributors, Emma Lyn Design, Expect Natural and Fashionably Stoned.  The entrance fee is $20 with all proceeds going toward the Relay for Life of Katonah-Lewisboro event for The American Cancer Society.

“The message and mission of The American Cancer Society Relay for Life movement is a valuable one and we at GPNY are happy to support it, along with Moms with a Mission.  We expect a fun night for the attendees and encourage them to eat, drink, and shop for an excellent cause,” said Nat Mundy, VP of Sales and Marketing at Grand Prix New York.

Moms with a Mission, a local team participating in the Relay for Life event on June 11 at John Jay High School, are trying to reach their goal of $10,000 and they’re already more than halfway there.  Team captains and Lewisboro residents, Meredith Rudin and Marina Fried, are looking forward to raising even more money to fight cancer at next week’s event.

“Our team, Moms with a Mission, is honored and excited to be participating in our third annual Relay for Life event.  This is our opportunity to honor cancer survivors, remember friends and family who have lost their battle and walk to help raise funds to support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission,” Fried said.  “We are incredibly grateful and extremely excited that Grand Prix has graciously donated their space for us to hold our Relay After Dark: Shop, Sip, Snack and Schmooze for a Cure event.  Please come and support this important cause!”
