Get Ready for the Nuclear Cowboyz

Last night we headed to NJ tot he Izod Center in East Rutherford. Leaving the kids at home and taking the big kids, my husband, sister and brother-in-law,  seriously you would have thought the kids were with us.   Quads, bikes, swords, fireworks, this show had it all.  The excitement and music had everyone at the edge of their seats.  The riders included a mixture of X-Game medalists and  professional FMX riders.  The kids sitting around up were jumping up and down, I can’t wait to bring mine here next year, he’s been to races and would love the stunts.

The show starts off with an introduction to the two acts competing: Shaolin Kung Fu Warriors of China, the Nuclear Cowboyz and dancers- Nuclear Cowgirlz.    The fireworks, pyrotechnics and lasers, and one of the riders, Colton Moore,  lit on fire just adds to the excitement.   As a mom, I would love my kids to get into this sport, at the same time I would be sick to my stomach every time they went to practice/compete, these guys are extremely talented, no denying that.  Our favorite stunts were towards the end when they had 4 across going off the jumps simultaneously, three, two and single were just in front of them.

We had great seats, but ideal ones would be in the middle on either side so you can view take off and landings of the tricks/riders.  For the younger ages I would also suggest ear protection, especially for those with sensitivity.  If you can’t get the VIP Fallout Zone tickets for before show action, you can wait post show for autographs and pictures.  We had posters signed by all the riders after the show and my brother-in-law took a picture with his idol Jeremy “Twitch” Stenburg, a 16 time X-Game medalist.
