FREEBIE: Wooden Crafts
We have taken advantage of the FREE weekend kid programs at both Lowes and HomeDepot. Banging a hammer is the most fun a toddler can have right? Lowes has monthly themes, this summer it’s been Toy Story and Planes vehicles. Home Depot does their own projects: NASCAR car, planter, lawn mower, bird feeder and a pickup. HD’s projects are the first Saturday of each month, where Lowes offers 2 a month and there are Saturday and Sunday times for each project. If you plan your month right you can have 3 weekend mornings of building free projects (most take under 30 minutes to build).
