COUNTRY LIVING FAIR RETURNS TO RHINEBECK, NEW YORK, JUNE 2-4

WHAT:                 The Country Living Fair brings the magazine’s content to life and gives readers access to a unique shopping experience featuring more than 200 vendors from 25 states, including antiques sellers, food purveyors, artists, furniture makers, crafters, and more. Guests will also have a chance to meet Country Living editors and their special guests; attend cooking, crafting, and DIY demonstrations, workshops, and book signings; sample locally sourced, artisanal food; and shop the Country Living General Store.

 

WHEN:         June 2, 3, 4 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Gates open for Early Bird ticket holders at 8:30 a.m. Friday & Saturday.

11:00 a.m.: Main Stage: Joanne Palmisano, contributing DIY Network designer and stylist, will present stylish ways to use vintage in your home’s decor, followed by a meet & greet in the General Store.

11:30 a.m.: Kitchen Stage: Ann Marie Craig of Century Farmhouse will be doing a demo on making handcrafted soap.

12:00 p.m.: Main Stage: Jana Platina Phipps, “The Trim Queen” will present embellishment DIY tricks for decorating with trimmings.

12:30 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Charlyne Mattox, Country Living Food & Crafts Director, will be doing a cooking demo on spring desserts.

1:00 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Jan Johnsen of Johnsen Landscape and Pools & garden expert will be doing a demo on ways to use natural stone in your garden, followed by a signing for her book The Spirit of Stone. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

2:00 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Silvia Baldini, winner of Food Network’s Chopped & Founder at Strawberry and Sage, will be doing a cooking demo on Spring power lunches.

3:00 p.m.: Main Stage: Mary Randolph Carter, Country Living Contributing Editor, will share tips for saving space followed by a signing for her book Never Stop to Think…Do I Have a Place for This?. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

 

SATURDAY, JUNE 3

11:30 a.m.: Kitchen Stage: Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell of “The Fabulous Beekman Boys” will be doing a cooking demo on Sweet Ravioli & Pea Pesto, followed by a signing for their book Beekman 1802 Style. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

12:00 p.m.: Main Stage: Melissa Caughey of Tilly’s Nest, HGTV.com writer and contributor, will share tips to create a living wreath, followed by a signing for her book A Kid’s Guide to Keeping Chickens. Books will also be available for purchase onsite.

12:00 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Charlyne Mattox, Country Living Food & Crafts Director, will be doing a demo on spool and rick rack crafts.

2:00 p.m.: Main Stage: Denise Sabia, blogger of The Painted Home, will present 10 Farm-Fresh Ideas for Spring.

2:00 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Ann Marie Craig of Century Farmhouse will be doing a cooking demo on cooking with lavender.

3:00 p.m.: Jennifer Paganelli of Sis Boom will share DIY tips and tricks to decoupage suitcases.

 

SUNDAY, JUNE 4

12:00 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Charlyne Mattox, Country Living Food & Crafts Director, will be doing a cooking demo on spring desserts.

1:00 p.m.: Kitchen Stage: Corinne Trang, chef, wellness coach & author of Essentials of Asian Cuisine, will be doing a cooking demo on teas.

3:00 p.m.: Main Stage: Joanne Palmisano, contributing DIY NETWORK designer and stylist, will present stylish ways to use vintage in your home’s decor, followed by a meet & greet in the General Store.

 

TICKETS:               One-day admission is $13 in advance and $16 at the door; three-day weekend passes are available for $15 in advance and $20 at the door;

An Early Bird three-day weekend pass is available for $40 and grants early admission at 8:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday;

Free admission for children ages 16 and under.

The Fair is held rain or shine and there’s plenty of free parking.

 

Attendees will be able to engage with Country Living at the Fairs by using the hashtag #CLFair and share their favorite finds using the hashtag #CLFairFinds.
