Hi Moms! Welcome to the LAST week of May! I can’t believe it has flown by so quickly! I hope you all had a fantastic long weekend and took a minute to remember our fallen servicemen and women on Monday.  Here are a few places to check out to finish out the month!

Friday May 29th

Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie

Discover Early Learning Junction – With a focus on the trains join a guided play of this area in the museum.  Free with admission at 2:30pm!

McCarthy’s Restaurant, Carmel

Songs of Summer Benefit Show – Enjoy a night of family music along with a craft fair, and raffles.  All to benefit local disability advocates.  There’s a $5/person donation for this evening of family entertainment.

Saturday May 30th

 Eleanor Roosevelt Historic Site, Poughkeepsie

Music by Jay Ungar & Molly Mason Family Band. Enjoy food, drinks, music and kids activities! Square dancer of all abilities and ages welcome!  $10, Children 5-15 years: $7, 4 and under: FREE. Tickets must be purchased in advance.  You can get them HERE!

Primrose Hill School, Rhinebeck

2nd Annual Spring Faire – Free admission & local food. There will be hay rides, hay pyramid, crafts, puppet shows & treasure hunt. Music by the Vanaver Caravan. Come visit the animals and the bunny hutch.

Millbrook Library, Millbrook

Millbrook Literacy Festival – Join over 30 authors for a day of book signings, poety reading and family fun.

Sunday May 31st

Mahopac Library, Mahopac

BAMM Concert – Check out an all steel band at 2pm.

Tuesday June 2nd

Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum, Poughkeepsie

Afternoon ABC 123! Search the museum top to bottom to see what shapes can be found in the real world.  Learn creative ways to make shapes to hang from a shape-mobile.
