The experience for our children can easily expand their knowledge of historic landmarks, demographics and keep them interested for sure. The four of us sailed from Pier 62 on Chelsea Piers. This hour and a half sunset tour was my first experience on a harbor cruise and I was completely captivated with the panoramic view and the excitement of being on a boat. Such a fun time! The Captain will steer the “Manhattan” by One World Trade Center, Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty and Governors Island. Then heading toward the East River, passing under the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge and the Williamsburg Bridge. Take in the views of the New York City skyline, parts of Brooklyn and Queens, the financial district and Battery Park. Again; a one of a kind tour. As you enjoy this relaxing tour The Captain provides a narrated tour. I thoroughly enjoyed his short and sweet version of key landmarks and information pertaining to our surroundings.
I was so impressed with this particular tour as was our group. The vessel along with the Captain and crew, the breathtaking views; we thoroughly loved our cruise. I have already planned our next cruise when we have family in from out of town. I know they will be truly fascinated!
