Affiliate links are in this post, we attended an event and encouraged to review. All opinions are my own and honest. We tried and really enjoyed this Beyond Tablet.
Getting your family off screens can lead to some noise from the kids, moans and groans. Well change that and give them a tablet that has many games included and extras to add to your family game night. We attended an event at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan for the new Beyond Tablet . The teacher in me immediately started playing the games and organizing the kids at our table. We tried five games testing them today, almost all are 4 player.

I loved the Lost Pyramid, Spot the Animal and Funny Fruits the best from what we played. The learning possibilities and differentiation between ages is endless. Lost Pyramid I even played alone and can picture myself battling adults to race the 100 second timer. Spot the Animal and Funny Fruits is perfect for my own children but also the young kids I work with (under 5 set). They are great for color and shape identification, as well as object recognition.
John Shi, the creator this CES 2017 Innovation Award game created to enhance traditional play with no screen but physical elements. These elements or manipulative are dice, blocks, maps, the Beyond Tablet senses objects and reacts accordingly, there are over 100 touch sensors. He is also a father who knows the importance of learning, enhancing skills and family bonding.
Another bonus I loved was the tablet came with a User Manual. Unlike usual manuals this one includes a list of all the games, then a break up of each game and included the description, potential educational benefits, how to play, button description, parenting guide and even a “typical scenario” dialogue example. Parents, grand-parents and care-givers have no excuses on how to work these games and their benefits.
