Our Apple Moms HV Rockland MNO at MyGYM Nanuet was another successful event because of you, our readers. Rockland Mom’s Night Out was a fantastic event with a great turn out despite the cold weather and looming snow! I think most Moms were excited to be able to get out without the kids, after being trapped in earlier from school closures and snow! Just about every person walking through the door said what a LONG week it had been!
The raffle tickets sold like crazy as everyone was eager to get their hands on some of the best prizes we have offered. Thanks to our sponsors we had a beautiful Vera Bradley Bag, Tiggly Counts, Blue Man Group, My Gym Memberships and prizes from all our small business moms.
The signature Mommymosas (mango juice and champagne) were a hit thanks to Putnam Mom Jenn, along with amazing Apple shaped cookies and pizza from Village Pizza Cafe in West Nyack. While eating moms chatted, met new friends and chatted about their kids. Potty training was a hot topic between veteran moms and newer moms.
Every mom leaves with one our Apple Moms’ gift bags. We know many of the returning Moms were excited to get home and open all of their swag. One Mom commented that “just the gift bags alone make it worth attending our events and finding about the new brands and gifts for their kids and themselves”. Miraclesuit and MAGICSUIT provided our moms with makeup bags and mirrors, perfect for us moms in our purses or gym bags. Apple Mom favorite Mabel’s Labels were included for either boys and girls, great for labeling all their feeding accessories and belongings. Some of the Small Business Moms we had at our Rockland MNO were Origami Owl, Stella & Dot, Nerium, Younique, Barefoot Books, Jamberry and Tastefully Simple. Please visit their online stores for any and all of your needs. One of the reasons MNO started was to support our local moms and their endeavors.
The evening was a well deserved break for all of our attendees. We love our MNO as great time for us to interact with the readers, find out what they are interested in, what they want more from us and how we can help them with places in the Hudson Valley. We also had a few of our Small Business Moms and Moms of the Week in attendance, we thank them for their continued support.
