All Aboard with Thomas & Friends at the Liberty Science Center

Share

Now through May 13th Thomas and his friends from the Island of Sodor are taking up the 4th floor at the Liberty Science Center for Thomas & Friends: Explore the Rails exhibit.   My Thomas obsessed kids and I had the chance to explore the rails and meet Sir Topham Hatt thanks to Jersey Moms Blog and their event and admission.

This exhibit is designed for ages 2-8, my 7 year old son, as well as my 6 year old daughter enjoyed playing with the trains and pretend/dress up while there. It looks compact but there is so much to do and check out you will be dragging your children out.  If you child plays with trains this is the place to visit.  Children ages 2-12 are $17.75 and adults $21.75 to enter and open daily through the fall and winter except for Mondays.

This traveling STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) exhibit is moving across the United States.  At the Island of Sodor you will travel to Knapford Station, Sodor Steamworks and more.  Find out how “Really Useful” while climbing on Thomas Model to explore the inner workings, learn time telling at the the Tick Tock, Fix the Clock station.  The Get Percy Going station had Jack fixing his wheels to get those pistons pumping.  The Train table will be the most favorite for most kids.

I highly suggest visiting if your child/ren are Thomas Fans of any size, after this exhibit there are other exhibits to go see for all ages, many are interactive.  As many of you know we go to every Thomas event everywhere, I am a Thomas Mom.
