A Night Out: Mamarazzi with The Moms, Melissa Gilbert and AriZonaBeverages

Share

Wednesday night Christine and I headed into the city with fellow mommy bloggers to celebrate NYT Best Selling author Melissa Gilbert’s new children’s book Daisy and Josephine with The Moms (Denise Albert and Melissa Gerstein).

AriZona provided drinks and information on their new kids drinks and SkinnyGirl Sparklers for the moms.  I have been an AriZona fan for as long as I can remember, I drank tons of the Arnold Palmers while pregnant, they were my go to drink.  They also have launched water enhancers, great for on the go.  I came home with a Fruit Punch one and will be purchasing it again.  I love these for the kids, i can give them just a squirt of flavor without over doing it and still getting  tons of water.  “Pink water” as the kids call it, is a popular drink at home.   Just the kids bottles alone were adorable, small, compact ad easy to fit in bags and cup holders, and great tasting too.  AriZona also shared with us their new line of SkinnyGirl Sparklers by Bethenny Frankel, just as delicious.

Daisy an Josephine, is a sweet story about a little girl who overcomes shyness while spending time with her dad and her little dog Josephine.  Melissa’s dog Josephine is a French Bulldog who also greeted us Wednesday night.  My kids woke us up Thursday morning after finding the book on our coffee table asking us to read it, an instant favorite and placed immediately in our reading rotation.  The illustrator Julia Kuo does a wonderful job on the drawings throughout the story.  This story is great for preschool age and up!

Restaurant Rave: For those looking for a family friendly place to eat in NYC/Time Square be sure to check out Buca di Beppo a warm and cozy Italian Resturant located on 45th & Broadway, (between Toys R Us and The Disney Store for some shopping too!) for lunch and dinner opening at 11am, 7 days a week.
